Barhdadi Jewelry x Nicoline Thim

Our collaboration is built on a dialogue between two distinct worlds. 
On one hand, Nicoline Thim a Danish artist in ceramics and photography draws inspiration from raw material. She favors organic forms, those that follow the hand’s gesture and celebrate a down-to-earth approach to clay. Every ceramic piece carries her natural and unpredictable signature.

On the other, Mouna Barhdadi, a jeweler with Franco-Moroccan and German roots, anchors her creation in raw geometry of rough industrial shapes. Her universe is structured and precise, illuminated by vibrant colors from her selection of  gemstones. 

"Here you can see the first shapes we've worked on. We went through a lot of trials an errors, as we wanted the shapes to feel modern without being too "new looking" and gendered. The best part was to create necklaces that resist any temporality."

Where Nicoline seeks fluidity, Mouna builds rigidity.

Yet, beyond these aesthetic differences, the two artists share a deep passion for the history of ornamentation. Their common inspiration for ancient jewelry and ceramics, serves as a bridge between their respective techniques. 

We specifically designed this collection to be playful and colorful while echoing the aesthetic of antique jewelry and ceramic pieces.

Remember, you can customize your piece by changing the thread color and choosing between a silver or gold-plated chain. Each ceramic piece and necklace is unique.
